By gleaming the best lessons and activities about relationships from our Abstinence Education Program and integrating relevant Scripture, we are able to offer this 4-hour seminar to any church or organization looking to provide their members with Biblical, interactive, and highly informative learning experience.
It is recommended that any child that is 10 or older attend with their parent(s), as all attendees will be challenged to learn about themselves and other members of their family and how to improve their communication and interaction with one another. The topics of dating, intimacy, abstinence, and media impact are presented in a discrete manner that seeks to encourage living a life of sexual purity.
Seminar Costs: $10/participant ($40 max per family); minimum of $400/seminar
We recommend that the church or organization pass this cost on to the participants or at the very least charge each participant $5, as we have found doing so motivates families to not change their minds for frivolous reasons.
We also recommend that the church or organization provide a continental breakfast, snacks, and basic beverages. It is the church/organization's decision as to whether to pass on expenditures for such to participants.
If at least 40 participants cannot be "guaranteed," you might consider approaching another church or organization about a "combo-seminar" as we require a minimum fee of $400 before conducting a seminar.
Collection of participation fees is the church's/organization's responsibility, and payment of the seminar fee to the PRC must be received by us at least one week prior to the event.
This educational opportunity is typically offered on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., but we are very willing to consider other days and/or times.
Print and digital publicity pieces are available, and if needed we are willing to print these for you; however, someone from your church or organization would need to pick these up from our center (644 South 900 East; SLC).
